Photocopiers are commonplace in many churches today making it easy for to photocopy from a wide variety of study books, song books, magazines, etc.

As an itinerant worker you may be involved in teaching new worship songs, training leaders or organising other activities and you must seek permission from the copyright owner to reproduce any of their work – even if it's only used once.

Contacting every copyright owner each time you wish to reproduce their material can be time consuming and costly. CCLI has simplified matters by introducing two licences which permit you to photocopy direct from books, magazines and other publications.


 

Each licence is specific to the type of publications you wish to photocopy. These are:

  • Produce hand outs of your sermons to small group leaders.  Ideas what you can do with your photocopying licence
  • Provide games and quizzes for children's or youth work.
  • Hand out sheet music so the worship group can take copies home and learn new songs.
